The porta potty has been a functional staple at outdoor events for decades. In recent years, portable toilets have come quite a long way. With added features to support cleanliness and functionality, the outdoor stalls of yesteryear are long gone. Still, some misconceptions linger, but we are here to dispel false beliefs.

5 Port-A-Potty Myths
1. There’s No Way to Clean Your Hands
Today’s portable toilets boast built-in hand sanitizers, making it easy for users to clean their hands when running water isn’t present. Additionally, many models also feature hands-free door technology to further prevent the spread of germs. If you prefer a sink, we offer portable handwash stations that include water, soap, and toweling.

2. They’re Not Suited for Nighttime Use
Are you planning a race with an early-morning start time, or do have upcoming festivities which will continue after the sun sets? Motion-sensing technology prompts the porta potty lights to flick on when in use, so guests will be accommodated even when it’s dark out.

3. They Don’t Work for Formal Occasions
Today’s outdoor facilities are built to fit even the most elegant affairs. VIP trailer restrooms are available to suit formal outdoor events, such as weddings. These models resemble full-service bathrooms with flushing capabilities and hand washing stations, all in an attractive and comfortable housing. We also offer top-of-the-line portable restrooms that have an appealing appearance.

4. They’re Not Handicap-Accessible
Traditional outdoor toilets may present difficulties for guests in wheelchairs, but there are now models designed specifically with these attendees in mind. Offering additional space and handles with added grip, wheelchair accessible stalls make it possible for everyone to use outdoor facilities.

5. They’re Too Expensive
While numerous factors determine the cost of port-a-potty rentals, they’re an affordable way to keep your guests comfortable and satisfied. You can seek a rental company with flat fees incorporating pick-up and delivery charges, so there are never any surprise costs.

That's good to know that you can get portable toilet rentals with motion-sensing lights so you can still use them at night. This is helpful since I'm looking for a way to have restrooms for my daughter's reception since she wants to have it at a park. We'll have to find a company that has these lights so we can make sure people can still use the restrooms when it's dark.

It's great you talked about how the portable toilet has become the latest in thing when it comes to doing the call of nature outside, but at the same time, it's also gotten quite a bit of rap due to what happens inside it. When you use a portable toilet, always make sure that you go in with a companion so that it doesn't get knocked over. If I had the chance to look for rentable portable toilets I would make sure that they're securely in place to prevent them from getting tipped over by pranksters.

It's good to know that wheelchair-accessible portable toilets make it possible for everyone to enjoy outdoor facilities. My wife and I would like to host an outdoor party, and we'd like to invite a friend of ours who's in a wheelchair. We'll be sure to look further into our options for renting portable toilets that are wheelchair-accessible in the future.

I had no idea that porta-potties have motion-sensor lights on them so you can use them in the night! My cousin works in construction, and he often has to work nights. It makes me happy to know that he's still able to see what he's doing when he needs to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I like that you mentioned that today's portable restrooms come with hand sanitizers that are built-in. It seems like utilities like these would be really beneficial for someone who is planning a big community event. It would probably be important to consult with a company that provides these to figure out what kind of options they have to choose from as well.

I appreciate you debunking the myth that with a port-a-potty you won't be able to clean your hands. My brother is throwing a wedding for his daughter in his backyard and he doesn't want people going into the house to use the bathroom. I'll recommend that he find a place to rent a portable restroom from.

I loved what you said about how you actually can use portable toilets when its dark outside because you can use motion-sensing lights in them to illuminate the space. My brother and I are planning a community stargazing event for next month and we want to make sure that everyone is comfortable and has all of their basic needs so that no one has to leave in the middle of the event. I will be sure to recommend that my brother looks into portable toilet rentals for the night so that we can ensure people don't have to drive to the nearest restroom.

It's great that you mentioned how there are portable toilets made accessible for wheelchairs. My sister's wedding is in a few months, and she's worried about the accessibility of the toilets of the wedding's venue. The party will take place in an outdoor garden, and the toilet facilities are somehow far from it. That's why I think this could be a good option for her, plus, it'll be available for everyone's needs. I'm grateful for your information about the benefits of renting a portable toilet for your event.

It's great that you mentioned how portable toilets are suited for night time use. My uncle's starting a construction job in his home, and he's worried about the restrooms needs of the construction workers since they'll be starting early in the morning when it's still dark, and he doesn't think it'll be suitable for them to use his home's bathrooms. That's why I think this could be a great option for him. I'm grateful for your information about the features of portable restrooms.
